Simply knowing how to use a tool like I-deas does not automatically mean that one can teach it to others.  Not only does a competent instructor have to have a thorough working knowledge of I-deas, but they must also be able to communicate.  Superior communication skills are an absolute must in order to effectively deliver a course.

I have instructed literally hundreds of people in the use of I-deas.  I am capable of instructing Part Design, Advanced Surfacing, Assembly Modeling, Best Practices and Drafting (all links open in a new window).  I possess both the knowledge to deliver these courses and the ability to effectively communicate.  I am able to supply a large number of references that will attest to both of these claims.  Often, when a course is scheduled, I have been specified as the instructor.

Another advantage that I offer is that of flexibility.  When you attend a publicly offered I-deas course, the syllabus is already determined.  There is very little latitude.  I am able to offer training that is more tailored to a particular need.  Sometimes, your people already know the basics of I-deas but are lacking understanding in a particular area.  I am able to fill that gap in their knowledge.
